How to Clean and Maintain Your Freebird ShaverUpdated 2 months ago

Keeping your FlexSeries shaver clean helps it perform at its best and extends the life of your blades. Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Open the Blades

Gently press down on each rotary blade to flex it open. Use your finger to carefully lift the cover. Each blade opens up to about 90° — don’t force it beyond that. Repeat for all four blades.

Step 2: Remove the Center Blade

Locate the arrows on the center piece. Twist it a quarter turn counterclockwise until it clicks, then lift it out.

Step 3: Rinse Thoroughly

Run the open blade heads and center piece under water to rinse away any hair or buildup. For best results, do this after every few shaves.

Step 4: Reassemble

Line up the tabs on the center piece with the grooves, then turn it clockwise a quarter turn until it locks into place. Close each blade cover.

Step 5: Replace and Store

Snap the shaving head back onto your shaver and you’re good to go. Regular cleaning will keep your shave smooth and irritation-free.

Quick Maintenance Tips

  • After every shave: Rinse the blades under running water to remove loose hairs.
  • Weekly: Open the blades fully for a deeper clean.
  • Every 3–6 months: Replace your blade head for peak performance (more often if you shave daily).
  • Drying: Always let the blades air-dry fully before reassembling.
  • Storage: Keep your shaver in a dry place to prevent buildup and extend blade life.
